In this session, I’m not going to give you an introduction to change management, nor a list of models or frameworks. Instead, we will work on something much more fundamental: the psychological and emotional foundations that make change possible.

My goal is that after these four hours, you understand yourself better, you recognise what happens inside you when change appears, and you walk away with a simple framework you can continue developing through future learning, reading or more advanced training. Think of this session as the architecture underneath everything else you will ever learn about change.

Any questions?

In this session, I’m not going to give you an introduction to change management, nor a list of models or frameworks. Instead, we will work on something much more fundamental: the psychological and emotional foundations that make change possible.

My goal is that after these four hours, you understand yourself better, you recognise what happens inside you when change appears, and you walk away with a simple framework you can continue developing through future learning, reading or more advanced training. Think of this session as the architecture underneath everything else you will ever learn about change.

Any questions?

To make the most of our session together, I’d like to invite you to spend a few minutes reflecting one or two days before we meet. You don’t need to write anything unless you want to; just take a quiet moment to think about the following:

1. Think about a recent change you went through.
How did it make you feel? What helped you? What made it difficult?

2. Ask yourself what you normally need to feel comfortable stepping into something new or uncertain.
This might be clarity, information, reassurance, structure, support…

3. Identify one change—big or small—that is currently relevant in your life or work.

4. Consider what you tend to fear losing when things change.
Not the change itself, but what you believe it might take away from you.

5. Think about what you’ve learned about yourself from past changes.
Are there patterns in how you respond?

These reflections will help you arrive at the session more present and more connected to your own internal process. The more aware you come in, the more meaningful the experience will be ;-)

Thinking fast and Slow.

A book written by Daniel Kahneman, a psychologist and Nobel Prize winner in Economics. In this work, Kahneman explores the two systems that govern our thinking: System 1, which is fast, automatic, and intuitive, and System 2, which is slower, deliberate, and analytical. Through research and practical examples, the author demonstrates how these systems interact, influencing our decisions, judgments, and behaviors, often in unexpected ways. Kahneman also analyzes the cognitive biases and mental traps that affect our perception and reasoning ability. Thinking, Fast and Slow is considered a seminal work that not only explains how the human mind works but also offers tools to improve our decision-making in daily life.

Insaei (docu.).

This is an Icelandic documentary directed by Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir and Kristín Ólafsdóttir that explores the Icelandic concept of "innsæi," which translates as "intuition" or "seeing within." The documentary investigates how intuition and empathy can influence our personal and professional lives, and how disconnection from these aspects can negatively impact our society. Through interviews with scientists, artists, and thought leaders, "InnSæi" shows how to recover and value intuition in a world dominated by logic and technology. It is a profound reflection on the importance of inner connection and awareness in our daily lives.
