This course is a practical introduction to mindfulness, designed for anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves and find greater calm, clarity, and well-being in their daily lives. Over six hours, we'll explore the foundations of mindfulness in an accessible and relatable way, integrating key concepts from modern psychology and elements inspired by the work of Daniel Siegel, such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, and the development of a more conscious and balanced mind.

By combining theory and practical exercises, you'll learn to train your attention, better manage your emotions, and reduce stress, all through guided experiences that you can easily incorporate into your daily life. No prior experience is required; just curiosity and a willingness to take time to stop, observe, and return to the present :-)

Any questions?

Any questions?

Before starting the course, I suggest taking a short break. Nothing fancy, just a moment for yourself, to stop and connect with where you're coming from. Mindfulness doesn't require you to arrive "prepared," but it can be very valuable to start with a certain intention.

Perhaps you might ask yourself: how long has it been since you stopped for a few minutes just to be with yourself, without distractions or pending tasks? We live immersed in a constant routine of doing, solving, and responding, and we rarely give ourselves permission to simply be. This pause is an opportunity to reconnect, even briefly, with that space of presence that almost always remains in the background.

You can also observe your daily life and ask yourself: when do you feel like you're operating on "autopilot"? Often our actions, thoughts, and even emotions are activated by inertia, without us realizing it. Starting to notice those moments, without judging them, is the first step toward greater awareness and inner freedom.

Finally, ask yourself what you would like to change in your relationship with stress, your emotions, or your attention span. You don't need to have a clear goal or expect concrete results. Just observe what has brought you here and open yourself to the possibility of experiencing the course with curiosity, attention, and kindness toward yourself.

You don't need to write anything down or come up with clear answers. Just let these questions resonate within you for a moment. The course will begin from there ;-)

Thinking fast and Slow.

A book written by Daniel Kahneman, a psychologist and Nobel Prize winner in Economics. In this work, Kahneman explores the two systems that govern our thinking: System 1, which is fast, automatic, and intuitive, and System 2, which is slower, deliberate, and analytical. Through research and practical examples, the author demonstrates how these systems interact, influencing our decisions, judgments, and behaviors, often in unexpected ways. Kahneman also analyzes the cognitive biases and mental traps that affect our perception and reasoning ability. Thinking, Fast and Slow is considered a seminal work that not only explains how the human mind works but also offers tools to improve our decision-making in daily life.

Insaei (docu.).

This is an Icelandic documentary directed by Hrund Gunnsteinsdottir and Kristín Ólafsdóttir that explores the Icelandic concept of "innsæi," which translates as "intuition" or "seeing within." The documentary investigates how intuition and empathy can influence our personal and professional lives, and how disconnection from these aspects can negatively impact our society. Through interviews with scientists, artists, and thought leaders, "InnSæi" shows how to recover and value intuition in a world dominated by logic and technology. It is a profound reflection on the importance of inner connection and awareness in our daily lives.
